More Than a City. It’s Your Story.
 

Utopia Roots started from my personal connection to Wollo. Since I was a child, I’ve been drawn to its beauty, culture, and diversity. Wollo is often called “Little Ethiopia” because of the different people, cultures, and traditions found there. My love for Wollo, along with the traditional Raya shirt and its jersey-like style, became the inspiration behind our signature design.
 

But the idea behind Utopia Roots goes beyond clothing.
 

I’ve always wanted to see a more united Ethiopia, where we can be proud of our different cultures and identities without allowing those differences to divide us. That is why Utopia Roots celebrates Ethiopia through its cities. The city you were born in, grew up in, your family comes from, or simply a place that means something to you can all be part of your roots.
 

The name Utopia represents the Ethiopia I hope to see. Not a perfect country, but one where we respect each other, embrace our differences, and live with more unity. Roots represents where we come from and the places, people, and experiences that shaped us.
 

Utopia Roots is about being proud of your own story while remembering that we are still part of something bigger.
